The Role

We're looking for a backend engineer to help build and scale the core infrastructure behind our AI platform. You'll work on systems that process thousands of documents, run complex data pipelines, and power the automation our customers rely on.

This is a founding engineer role. You'll shape the architecture, not just implement tickets. 🏗️

What you'll work on

Real examples of projects you might lead:

• Building and scaling document processing pipelines (PDFs, spreadsheets, messy data)
• Designing LLM-based extraction → prompt engineering, model selection, cost/accuracy tradeoffs
• Setting up monitoring and observability for production services
• Scaling our PostgreSQL and ClickHouse/Redshift infrastructure as data volumes grow
• Building workflow orchestration systems
• Deploying and managing services on AWS (ECS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
